How to get full text through EBSCO databases

Answer

Several EBSCO databases provide abstracting and indexing only and do not include full‑text articles, except for open‑access materials or items whose full text is available in another EBSCO database. As a result, users may find fewer articles available for immediate full‑text access. To assist with locating full text, multiple links are provided to direct users to legitimate access options. When more than one option is available for a citation, these links appear at the bottom of the brief record under Access options or at the top of the full record.

EBSCO platform Access Options

PDF or Online full text = Open‑access publications or full‑text content available through another EBSCO database.

View Complete Issue = Provides links to the journal’s Table of Contents via the BrowZine service.

LibKey Instant PDF or view article = A PDF provided via another library-subscribed resource through the LibKey integration service.

Link to article = Opens the library’s link resolver, which connects users to full text available through other library‑licensed sources or enables article requests via interlibrary loan or Article Galaxy Scholar when the library does not hold the content.
