Where can I find books or articles about...?

Answer

Use OneSearch, the library's discovery system or search in specific databases to locate books or articles on your topic.

See our OneSearch Help page for tips on navigating and getting the most out of OneSearch. You can also consult the Research Guides for recommended subject-specific databases.

Use keywords to represent your topic. Keywords are a series of key words that help you discover what information can be found in a particular article or book. Using advanced search filters can also help you narrow down the types of resources you are searching for.

For further assistance, stop by the Reference Desk, call the Desk at 406-243-6866, or use the chat service. The chat widget appears in the lower right corner of the library web pages. The Desk, phone, and chat hours are 10am-4pm, Monday-Friday, and you will receive a response to offline messages within 24-48 hours. You can also submit your question to our FAQ database!
