I would like access to an ebook or streaming audio title in the MontanaLibrary2Go collection, but the wait period is too long. What can I do?

Answer

The library can buy copies of titles held by the MontanaLibrary2Go collection specifically for use by UM patrons. Submit a purchase request to ask that we buy a copy of a title for UM. In your request, include your 790 number so that we can put the copy on hold for you. The standard MontanaLibrary2Go lending period of 14 days applies. We may buy the electronic title through a different supplier if more favorable licensing terms are offered, such as an unlimited use rather than single copies.

MontanaLibrary2Go is curated by the state program and they make decisions about what to add to the collection. Patrons may use the Libby app to recommend titles to selectors.
