Q. I'm enrolled in online classes: can I request books through interlibrary loan?

Answer

For students enrolled in online classes (distance education status), we will mail books, media, and other physical items if they can be obtained through our resource sharing process in OneSearch.

Articles can be requested through interlibrary loan (ILL) because they are delivered electronically as PDFs.

To use interlibrary loan for physical items, you will need to request them using your local, public library's own ILL process.

Please call the Check Out Desk at (406)243-4071 and ask to speak with a circulation supervisor if you have questions!
